Kale Chips
Do you love chips and a crunchy snacks but don’t like the fat or calories? Well I sure do but as you know greasy chips are NOT kind to our waist lines! I have a delicious chip alternative. Kale chips! They are so good and my kids LOVE them! I have a hard time keeping in the house. Almost as soon as I get them out of the oven the kids dive right in.
You can buy kale at pretty much every grocery store. I like to find a batch with the smallest leaves. They make a better chip. This year we have planted a beautiful garden. I am so excited about our Organic Garden. Plus we only used NON-GMO seeds. With the family loving kale chips we planted a bunch of kale.
Pre-heat the oven to 275*F
Cut off the steams off the kale. Place kale into a large bowl
Drizzle oil on top of the kale just until moist. Sprinkle with salt then toss together. (Sub Olive oil for Coconut Oil)
Lay each piece of kale flat onto a cookie sheet. Sprinkle with Garlic. (You can use other spices if you prefer)
Bake at 275*F for 20 minutes or unit crisp.
