DIY House Number Planter Sign!

I have a fun DIY project for you today! When we bought our house it didn’t have any house numbers. After living here for some time when I would have deliveries arrive or trying to sell something on Facebook Marketplace so many people would be confused it was the right house or not. This simple DIY project is a quick way to add curb appeal to your home. Made from an inexpensive cedar fence picket and house numbers, all you will also need is a saw, hammer and some nails to build!
SHOPPING LIST
1 Cedar Fence picket, 5-1/2″ wide x 72″ long (can be dog eared)
6″ House numbers
Screws for attaching to an exterior wall (fastener type will depend on your siding/wall type)
Wood Glue
1 1/4 inch Finishing nails
Stain (Color of your choice)
Foam Brush
Soil and plants (of course!)
Or fake plants!
Tools
Circular Saw (This is the one we used)
CUT LIST
1 – cedar fence post @ 36″ long – back – can be adjusted to fit your house numbers’ height
3 – cedar fence posts @ 4-3/4″ long – bottom and sides
1 – cedar fence post @ 7″ – cut to fit, front piece
INSTRUCTIONS
