Happy St. Patty’s Day

Happy St. Patty’s Day!

I love St. Patty’s day! Do you wear GREEN? Last year my family and I were in Mexico on Spring Break! Wishing we were there right now but enjoying some time at home with the family.

Here’s a new twist on a green smoothie for you, just in time for St. Patrick’s Day.

I love a good green smoothie made with fresh greens, and fruit. You really can get creative with your smoothies and add different greens, fruits, and nuts. Just don’t add sugar or overdo it with the fruit.

Plus, it’s so pretty and delicious!

I’ve also been adding a scoop of collagen powder to my smoothies for extra protein and have been really impressed with how much more it fills me up. Collagen is great for gut health and dissolves seamlessly into almost any drink. It’s also excellent for your skin, hair, nails, and joints too.

This green smoothie won’t just win you over with the taste, but you can feel good knowing that every sip is filled with wonderful nutrients. Mint has so many health benefits, Mint helps your body digest food better. And since it’s a natural stimulant, it aids in weight loss by helping your body burn fat faster. Talk about a win!

If you are out of fresh mint no worries! Just add a few drops of peppermint essential oils or peppermint extract. If you want this smoothie to be a bit more creamy I would suggest adding 1/2 of an avocado.
