Happy New Year!
What do you want to accomplish in 2015?
Did you know that only 8% of people complete their new years resolutions!!! Maybe this year instead of making a resolution we set small goals for ourselves, or at least to set a realistic resolution.
What are your goals for this coming year? Here are a few tips on setting goals.
BE REALISTIC:
You can always add and increase your goals as you meet them. If we set goals that are to far out of your reach you are more likely to give up. A good goal should stretch you but not pull you way over your comfort zone.
COMMIT
Commit yourself to your goals. Being committed is a willingness to do whatever it takes to fulfill and follow through on a responsibility. Commitment is essential to achieving our goals.
ACCOUNTABLE
Hold yourself accountable. Write down your goals, this is critical. There is a huge power in writing your goals down. Post a note with your goals somewhere you can see. Share your goals with a spouse, friend or post on social media. When you write something down, you are stating your intentions and setting things in motion.
Time-Bound
Every goal needs a date associated with it. When do you plan to meet your goal. A goal without a date is a dream. Make sure that every goal ends with a by when date.

Another strategies for helping you stay on track this year are setting intentions.
Intentions
Here are some examples of intentions:
- I intend to speak kindly to myself and treat myself lovingly
- I intend to celebrate small victories everyday.
- I intend let go of extra weight holding me back
- I intend to laugh out loud at leave once a day
- I intend to show up for myself
- I intend to be present
