I knew it was going to be challenging but I was unaware how much I would miss him! Thanksgiving break is next week and I am counting down the days until Jack arrives home for break! This has been the longest I have been away from him. Another reason I wanted to…

BABY CHICKS HATCH: Our First Hatching
🐣💕🐥 NEW BABY CHICK!! 🐣💕🐥 Last month Ryan and I were out for our evening walk around the property and my husband said do you hear a baby chick? I was like “No Way!!” I hurried over to the coop and sure enough, we have a baby chick out in the middle of the run! I knew I had a broody hen but I’ve never had any of my broody hens actually hatch an egg!! I picked up the little tiny chick and took it into the coop. I already had a “nursery” set up from when my last batch of chicks moved outside to the large coop. Watch this…

My Journey with vTOS
Let’s start at the beginning for the last few weeks I had noticed my right arm was swollen and turning blue and purple. There was small bruise on my shoulder but I hadn’t injured it. I also noticed that I had a bruise on my knee which was from a bug bite so I thought that might be the case. I asked my husband as well as my daughter if they could see a difference in my arms. At that time they couldn’t really tell. It was later in the week my husband was watching my latest Workout Video. Check it out here. My husband noticed in that video my…

Daily Affirmations

Do you know that on average women think 85,000 thoughts a day—with upwards of 95% of those thoughts being negative? YIKES! In fact, our brains are wired to make these negative thoughts STICK to play over and over and over again, all in the name of survival mode. What are you saying to yourself daily through your words and thoughts? Are they empowering you and uplifting you to dream bigger? Life is going to have struggles and challenges that’s why it’s so important to have…

SHOP YOUR KIDS SCHOOL SUPPLIES!
Wow is it really August already! This summer is flying by! My kids are back in school! Jack is starting his Sophmore year and Gillian is a 7th grader this year. July was our no spend month you can read about it here. I am so glad we did this it was very rewarding plus we saved a lot of money. With a new month and the challenge over we still don’t want to overspend this month just because it’s no longer a no spend month. That would almost defeat the purpose of the challenge last month. With that said it is a month we do have to spend a…
