Kitchen Remodel Part 1
This remodel took several months to complete. We also did this in several stages. Today I am sharing part 1 of our kitchen remodel! I had thought about sharing the whole process in one post but it was just getting too long so I am breaking it out into at least two parts. If you missed my Before Home Tour you can check it out here. I am so excited about this remodel! Now that this project is over there are still a few things I would like to do to imprve the kitchen even more. Let’s start with a few before pictures! These next few pictures are from when…

Our Home Before Tour
This blog is long overdue and I have been wanting to write this for so long but you know life happens. But today is the day! We have been busy remodeling our home it’s far from being done. Not sure we will ever be done remodeling but that’s okay because I love to do these projects. We have lived in our home for three years now and we have made a lot of changes and improvements. I thought it would be fun to look back at all our projects and make it a new series. I will post a different project we have accomplished on our home! Each week or…

Shop your Pantry
In the United States, we waste between 30 to 40 percent of our food supply, according to the United States Department of Agriculture. As a family we are guilty of this as well but we are trying our best to cut back on our food waste. What we have been doing to cut back on our waste is first we shop our pantry and fridge before heading to the store. I try and make a meal plan for that week with items we already have. Next, we freeze any leftovers that we are not going to eat in the next couple of days. If we do have any food that…

Building Our Raised Beds
Building Our Raised Beds Building Our Raised Beds was so much fun! Do you garden? I love gardening and love learning more and more each year. I am particularly excited for this year’s vegetable garden because it’s at our new house! We have decided to build raised beds because the location we want to plant our garden holds the water and is like a lake after a rain or snow storm. It would be too wet and would drown the garden if we just planted in the ground. I can not tell you how excited I am for my raised beds! I have been wanting to build them since we bought…

Greenhouse Demo
Greenhouse Demo Greenhouse Before Lot so fun things have been going on around the new house! We started to demo the old greenhouse! I really wanted to save it! The idea of having a greenhouse just excites me so much! But unfortunately, the greenhouse that was here was not savable. We considered fixing it up or even turning it into a chicken coop but the wood was just too rotten. So it had to come down! This was a fun family filled day! And let me tell you a fantastic workout!! I was feeling it the next day! We tried to save and recycle as much as we could but…
